Montreal Helplines
A wonderful reader reached out after reading my posts concerning Depression. The reader asked if I knew of places someone going through depression, anxiety, other disorders or someone having suicidal thoughts, could go to seek help in Montreal. I was upset at myself for not having more than two places as a response. I told them that I would look into it and since it may help other people, I thought I would share what I found.
I have not visited these places, so if there is a resource I put on the list that you would not recommend, or if you had great experiences at another, please comment and let us know! I would hate to tell someone to try a clinic and have the experience make it worse for them, so please let myself and other readers be aware of your experiences (post as anonymous if you don’t want to share your name). I thank you in advance!

There are numerous resources and there are several ways you can reach out if you need someone to speak to, whether it be face to face, over the phone, or chatting online.
Just remember to never feel ashamed to ask for help- it does not mean you are weak. It just means you are strong enough to reach out.

As always, if you still feel strange about contacting any of the places listed, and you need someone to talk to, e-mail me at [email protected]
I will answer as soon as I can.
