Have you ever been invited to an event, but it wasn’t child friendly? Perhaps you could not find a suitable babysitter, and therefore were unable to attend. Or, maybe you are planning an event and would like to make sure everyone can attend, even those with children.
Whatever the case may be, Kidtabulous is here to save the day.
When I first met the Owner of this great company, I knew I wanted to learn more about what they offer. As a Mother myself, there have been countless events that I had to miss out on simply because childcare wasn’t an option at the time.
It’s not that we don’t love taking care of our children; it would be nice to either be able to include our kids or have nights without stressing about if they are being taken care of properly.
Whether it is a wedding, work party, public/private event, this is where Kidtabulous comes in.
What is Kidtabulous?
Kidtabulous is a company here in Montreal which provides pop-up childcare services at events. No matter what the venue is, or the age range of the children attending, they have an option for you. This way, parents and children can take part in the event, while the parents can be sure that their children are being cared for just a few feet away.
Who Are They?
For any parent, leaving your children in the care of someone else can be a bit daunting. You want to be sure that your children will be safe, and watched closely. You can trust the animators at Kidtabulous to take the proper care of your children, while ensuring the kids will have a fun experience.
Each animator has experience with working with children. They have also been trained in first aid and have been background checked. Their only goal is to provide excellent childcare to give everyone peace of mind while enjoying the event.
Kidtabulous Services
The following is a list of services they offer, but in general, each one comes with the same general care.
This includes:
- A large variety of stimulating, games, toys and materials for all ages
- Safe, secure space (first aid kit, outlet covers, carpets)
- Registration system and personalized labels
- Low animator/child ratios
- Parents can check on children anytime

Kids Playroom Basic Package
This pop-up playroom allows the children to move and play as loudly as they like without disturbing the adult event.
A playroom is setup with lots of games, toys, activities and arts &crafts for the children in a separate, smaller room (ex. bridal suite, meeting room) at the venue or at a hotel nearby.
Kids Playroom Standard Package
Just like the Basic Package, there is a pop-up playroom which allows the kids to play as they wish without disturbing the event. Toys, activities are provided, along with a personalized activity box for each child!
Kid’s Table Package
The Kid’s table allows the children to participate in the event with the benefit of having a table designated for them.
The animators set up the Kid’s Table in the same room as the event with tabletop toys and games. This also includes a personalized activity box for each child.
Option of having animators stay at the table with the children, engaging them in games and activities to keep them busy throughout the event.
Ideal for child friendly weddings, anniversary parties, etc.
Animated Babysitting Service
The children can remain in the comfort of the hotel room or in the event room.
The animator will bring a small amount of activities, and will maintain communication with the parents throughout the duration of the event.
Ideal for one-on-one babysitting needs or child-free events.
About the Owner
I-yatah Keisha Holness founded Kidtabulous in 2018. She is an educator with 14 years of experience working with children, and a Mom of 1. I-yatah started this business because she was frustrated with not being able to go out to events when she couldn’t find a sitter. She knew other Moms who felt the same way, which inspired her to provide a solution. Kidtabulous allows Moms to go out to events and enjoy themselves while the children are cared for a few feet away at the venue.

This year, Kidtabulous is proud to be offering a special New Year’s Eve party for kids! Kidtabulous will have several fun activities planned for the children in their care. This means, that parents can go out to celebrate ringing in 2019 while knowing their children are in safe hands.
