CSG and St Paul’s Come Together for Autism Speaks
While I have shared about both CSG and St Paul’s before, there is nothing I love to write about more, than people coming together to support awareness of a cause. This is exactly what CSG, a Montreal based company, and St Paul’s school in Concord, New Hampshire did. For a recent charity event supporting Autism Speaks, CSG made custom jerseys for the hockey team at St Paul’s, and they were stunning.
What is Autism Speaks?
“Autism Speaks enhances lives today and is accelerating a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow.”
Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. -via the Official Autism Speaks Website
CSG and St Paul’s Come Together
As you know, CSG provides custom apparel for any sport. When the hockey team at St Paul’s was looking for a way to show even more support for the awareness Autism Speaks provides, they knew that had to turn to CSG. As you can see from these photos, CSG made beautiful blue custom jerseys for the whole team, to show their support in the best way they know how.
Why did they make the jerseys blue?
On April 2nd, it is World Autism Awareness Day and you may notice that more people than usual are wearing the color blue. There are several theories as to why blue was chosen as the color to support Autism Awareness, and in this article, you can read why Kerry Magro, a motivational speaker on the matter, chooses to wear blue.
While the theories differ, blue was definitely the perfect choice for the team to wear, and CSG was happy to make this custom apparel for the players. Not only was the color perfect, the team at CSG also paid close attention to several other details. From the school’s emblem and the name of the players being proudly shown, “Autism Speaks” was also included.
Sports apparel is definitely a way to make a statement, and CSG worked with St Paul’s to clearly show their support for the awareness of Autism, and to show how people can make a difference.
