Chocolate avocado pudding… you probably think I’m going a bit too far when it comes to healthy recipes. This recipe is worth it though!
Since I am a huge fan of avocados, I try to use them as often as possible. While I’m used to incorporating them into several meals, I have always wanted to try using avocados in a dessert. Enter, this Chocolate Avocado Pudding recipe. Now that I have finally made it, I can attest to the fact, that it is DELICIOUS. Have you ever heard people rant and rave about how good it is? You can believe them now, I promise.
Are you still skeptical about how this will taste? Try it and let me know what you think! If you need an extra little nudge towards trying it, you can read about the benefits of cocoa powder here.
Chocolate Avocado Pudding
Ingredients
2 large avocados – peeled, pitted, and cubed
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup brown sugar (or replace it with honey for a healthier alternative)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup to 1 cup almond milk
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Instructions
Blend all of the ingredients together with a handheld mixer (or blender) until smooth. Refrigerate pudding until chilled, about 30 minutes. It’s that easy!
You can easily experiment with the ingredients to find what additions or replacements you prefer. This recipe turned out so well that I won’t need to make chocolate pudding any other way ever again!
